Each year, the Thoroughbred Incentive Program will select Youth Ambassadors to represent the program and the Thoroughbred breed for one calendar year. Past ambassadors must submit a new application each year if they wish to re-apply to the program.
To apply to be a T.I.P. Youth ambassador you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: 18 years old or younger (as of January 1st of the ambassador year)
- Reside in the US or Canada
- Own or Lease a Thoroughbred with a registered T.I.P. number
- Participate in T.I.P. (Non-competition award applicant or participation in T.I.P. sponsored shows or classes)

The selection process for the Youth Ambassador Program is a two-part process. All Applicants notified to proceed to the second part of the application process must complete and submit supplemental materials to complete their Application no later than November 15. All Applications and supplemental materials must be submitted by mail to The Jockey Club T.I.P., 821 Corporate Dr. Lexington, KY 40503 or via email to TIPambassador@jockeyclub.com

to ensure delivery). If application is submitted by mail please ensure each portion is post marked by the appropriate corresponding date.
Once ambassadors are chosen, the ambassador must accept the position and
follow up with communication as necessary before the year of the role; otherwise a new ambassador will be chosen to take his or her place.
